Describe an amusement park you went to.
where it is
when you went there
why you went there
And explain what you did there.
这是一道描述地点的题目,那么,我们要怎么回答呢?
Well, I’d like to tell you about my first roller coaster ride in the Disneyland, in HongKong.
The name of the roller coaster seems to be Space Mountain. Maybe I remember the wrong name as it has been nearly 10 years since the last time I visited there.
We went there in celebration of my cousin’s birthday, because she was a huge fan of Disney movies. So was I! But I suffered a lot in Space Mountain, you know, the roller coaster, even the ineffable musical based on The Little Mermaid, my favourite Disney princess story, did not compensate too much.
My cousin saw roller coaster rides as an extraordinary excitement in Disneyland, so she tried a thousand of ways to persuade me into joining her. I completely understood roller coaster meant a nightmare for me, but somehow, I stood in the queue with her.
When we were on the train, it started slowly in a nearly pitch-dark room. That was acceptable, until it suddenly sped up without any signs, and then the whole train rushed through a pitch-black tunnel and dash down. The sudden brightness and loss of gravity scared me within an inch of my life and I called out for help even my parents! At least, my cousin said so. I know it is terribly embarrassing! When I got off the train, I could see my face in the mirror as pale as that of a vampire.
So now, no matter when I go to a theme park, any suggestions about a roller-coaster ride will always go down like a lead ballon.
